Dorothy Young Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Dorothy Young announce her passing on Tuesday, March 5th, 2024 at the Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital at the age of 99 years.
She leaves to mourn with many loving memories: sons: Robert (Mildred), Eugene (Ann), Francis (Diane), Michael (Lisa), Fintan, Paul, Roderick, and Eli; daughters: Pearl (Thomas), Mercedes (Nicky), Eva, Doris (Mark), Marion (Leon), Mary, and Regina; and brother Benedict; as well as a very large circle of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
Dorothy was predeceased by: husband Frank; son Nicholas; daughter Bessy; great grandchildren: Kyle, Jonathan, and Dextin; siblings: Francis and Mercedes; and sons-in-law: Fintan and Thomas.
A visitation will take place on Thursday, March 7th from 1:00-4:00 PM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Cremation will follow and a funeral service will be held at a later date.
