Surrounded by her grandchildren, Dorothy died peacefully on Thursday June 15th, 2023 at Fairhaven Nursing Home in Peterborough, Ontario. Dorothy Hilda Keat (Creasey)originally from Sarnia, Ontario passed away in her 91st year.
Beloved wife for 45 years to the late Charles William Keat (1996), and beloved partner to Robert Riddle (2022) for 12 years. Loving and caring mother to Sandi Horton (Tom Stegmier) of Cochrane, Alberta and Jack Keat (Gwen MacDonald) of Peterborough, Ontario. Cherished grandmother of Julie (John Gutowski), Jane (Geoff Muller), Ken (Taylor Ashton), Lynleigh, Tom and Emma (Andrew Mammoliti) and great grandmother of Lyla, Elida, Claire, Caleb, Barrett and Ronan. Dorothy’s predeceased by brother Donald Creasey (Dorothy) and Parents Gordon and Iris Creasey. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
Cremation is taking place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Interment will take place at Trent Valley Cemetery, Hastings, Ontario. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Peterborough Humane Society or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated.
