Passed away peacefully in her sleep, on July 23, 2024, at Derbecker’s Heritage House, in St. Jacobs, ON at the age of 87.
Beloved wife of Maurice «Mo», who predeceased Dorothy in 1973.
Cherished mother Joeanne Gravel.
Loving Nana G of Noëlle, Jacob-Alexandre.
Proud Nanela to her great grandchildren Cadence, Jemma and Zander.
Sister of Joan, Bruce (Shirley), and Earl (Claudette).
Aunt of Derrick, James, Craig, Michael, and Wendy.
Sister-in-law of Francine (late Graham).
Dotty will be missed by her extended family and friends.
Thank you to the staff of Heritage House for their continued care and love that they’ve extended to my mother and our family for the last 7.5 years. A mere thank you is not enough for everything that they have done.
Thank you to the staff at Henry Walser Funeral Home for their care and support through our grief.
Mom’s sense of humour, laughter, and legacy of love for her family were an inspiration for all. We aspire to continue in her footsteps.
She loved family and animals. Her presence will be forever missed.
