Obituary
Passed away suddenly at Grey Bruce Health Services on Friday, August 4th, 2023. Dorothy Carol Clayton-Mole was born in Owen Sound and in her 79th year.
She was the beloved wife of the late Ivan Barry Mole. Dorothy was a loving mother to Sherry Bazinet (Warren) of Owen Sound and Chad Clayton (Amanda) of Port Elgin, and a stepmother to Bearach Mole (Caitlin)and Brieann Mole (TJ). And a wonderful Grandma to Christopher, Jeremy, Kylar, Micheala, Edward and William. Dorothy was a dear sister to Betty Cowan and June Evans. She will also be greatly missed by her nieces, nephews, family and friends. Dorothy was predeceased by her parents, David and Dorothy Henderson (nee Souray) and her brother David Henderson.
Dorothy had a profound passion for the arts and found immense joy in expressing herself through various creative outlets. Her deep love for music, dancing, singing and painting played an Integral part of her life!
A come and go celebration of life will be held at Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, 250 14th St W Owen Sound, 519-374-7492, on Wednesday, August 16th, 2023, from 1:00 PM- 4:00 PM, with words of remembrance at 2:00 PM. We will have a table arranged for those who would prefer to share their memories, thoughts and words on paper.
