CLAUSSEN, Dorothea Anna “Thea” – Passed away peacefully at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Sunday August 27, 2023 in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Harold Claussen (2006). Loving mother of Uwe (Angela) Claussen, Ralph (Kelly) Claussen, and Peter (Tina) Claussen. Cherished Oma of Ben (Sara) Claussen, Brett (Jenny) Claussen, Brady (Kerri) Claussen, Meaghan Claussen, Jenna (Vince) Salvatori, Ryan (Abeer) Claussen, Melanie White, and Megan White. Great Oma of Addison, Josie, Rory, Avery, Abigail, Oliver, Declan, Blakely, Violet, Henry, Sloane, Tye, Levi, Remi, and the late Macey (2015). Dear sister of Hanna Nordman. Predeceased by her siblings, Paul Reinhardt, Karla Dobberkau and Hans Reinhardt. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Friends and family are invited to call at MORSE & SON FUNERAL HOME, 5917 Main St. Niagara Falls on Friday September 1, 2023 from 11 am to 1 pm. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Thea will follow at 1 pm with cremation to follow. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
