LARMER, Doris Emily (nee McColl): Passed away peacefully at Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Monday, April 8, 2024 in her 87th year with family by her side. Doris, beloved wife of the late Donald Larmer (d. 2012). Loving and dear mother of Steve (Tracy), Jeff (Joanne), and Donna Ruth (Bob). Cherished Grandma of Bailey (Mitch), Chad (Morgan), Charlize, J.R., Stephanie, Matthew, Jack, Julia, Haydon, Jayson and Ryan. Great Grandma to Leo, Murphy, Grady, Theodore.
Predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Elsie McColl of Haliburton. Dear sister of the late Beatrice Juszczynski (late Frank), Clayton McColl (Lela), Vera Jones (late Rowatt), the late Glen McColl, and Sylvia Holland (Doug). Remembered lovingly by many nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at Highland Park Funeral Centre on Tuesday, April 16th from 1:00 to 2:00 pm followed by a Memorial Service in the Highland Chapel at 2:00pm. Reverend Julie van Haaften officiating. Interment at Cartwright Union Cemetery at a later date. In memory of Doris, donations may be made to Hospice Peterborough or the charity of your choice.
