Ada Doreen Elizabeth (Ament) Hemsworth of Listowel passed away at Listowel Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, in her 89th year.
Mother of David Hemsworth & Monica Schneider of North Bay, and Debbie Saunders of Toronto.
Grandmother of Alysha & Brett, Darian, Carli, Donald, Tabitha, Victoria fiancé Jared, and Jack.
Sister of Bernice Ament of Listowel, Richard Ament & Mary Passmore of Grand Bend, and Larry & Ruth Ament of Exeter.
Remembered by her nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her husband Donald Hemsworth, and her parents Noah & Alma (Lorch) Ament.
Visitation will be held at Eaton Funeral Home, Listowel, on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., with a Legion Memorial Service at 1:30 p.m.
The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, July 22, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Ralph Dwarika officiating.
Interment in Fairview Cemetery, Listowel.
Reception to follow at Listowel Legion.
Memorial donations to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Wallace Twp. or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
