Obituary of Donna Lee Hachey
It is with heavy hearts that the family of Donna Lee Hachey announce her passing, which occurred on August 25, 2023, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB. Born in Saint John, NB on February 23, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Wendell “Dean” and Marie Elizabeth (Farren) Allan.
Donna is survived by her son Jim Hachey (Wanda); grandchildren: Christina Hachey (Luo Zheng), Stephanie Hachey, Kayla Hachey and Terrance Tait; great grand daughter Sophia Luo; son-in-law Shawn Tait; siblings: Sheryl Basque (Mike), Sharon Allen, Kim Gennis, Dora Marsden (Don), Gail Bennet (Ted), Wendell Allen, Sandra MacPherson, Patrick Allen (Jean) and Edna Allen; close friends Brian and Cathy Furgeson; as well as many extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, Donna was predeceased by her husband Henry Hachey; daughter Brenda Lee Hachey; and siblings: Vivian Richards, Barbara Allen and Sidney Allen.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid’s Funeral Home (506-832-5541), 1063 Main Street, Hampton, NB, where visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2023, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. A private interment will take place at a later date at Mosher Hill Cemetery, St. Martins, NB.
