It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of our mom, sister, mother-in-law, aunty D, and nana, Donna Lee Hehir (nee Frederick), on Friday, May 17, 2024, at the age of 78 years.
She was predeceased by her loving husband of 50 years, Bob; parents Merle and Maureen Frederick; in-laws, Edyth Boyd and Patrick Hehir; brothers-in-law, Dave Schneider, Bob Duncan, Richard Eberts, and Dennis Ulmer; former fathers-in-law, Ed and Bev.
Donna leaves behind her two children, Sean (Trish) Hehir and Kim (Don) Nogue; five grandchildren, Kayje Nogue, Skiela Nogue (Lonnie), Mayze Nogue, Bailey Hehir (Jessie), and MacKenna Hehir; brother Lyle Frederick (Minota); sisters, Glenny Eberts and Debbie Ulmer; sisters-in-law, Pat Schneider and Reta Duncan; aunts and uncles; many nieces and nephews, cousins, friends, colleagues, former students, and extended family.
A Celebration of Donna’s Life will be held at Bethune Community Hall, Bethune, SK on Monday, May 27, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow at Findlater Cemetery. Please join in a reception and story sharing at the hall, all are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in Donna’s memory to Guardian Grove Unit c/o Providence Place, 100 2nd Avenue NE, Moose Jaw, SK S6H 1B8 or Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan, 301-2550 12th Avenue, Regina, SK S4P 3X1.
