1972-2023
Donna Silvea, 51, of Moncton, NB, passed away at her
residence on July 25th, 2023. She was born in Moncton on
January 18th, 2023, the daughter of Brian and Heather (Rogers)
Fownes.
Donna worked at Minacs Call Center and later
worked as a cashier at Cooke’s Quik Mart. She was
a member of the Valley Baptist Church and enjoyed the time she spent
there growing up. She found peace when she was at the beach
and reading books. She had a passion for cross
stitch and was proud of her work once it was
accomplished. She loved gifting them to her family and
friends. She was a lover of animals,
especially cats and would take all the cuddles she could
get. Her mother was her best friend and they spent a lot of
time together. Donna always looked forward to their shopping
outings. «Words are not enough to express the
unconditional love that exists between a mother and a
daughter.»
She will be deeply missed by her mother, Heather Fownes of
Hillsborough; brother, David Fownes of Hillsborough; nephew Shawn;
Uncle Kevin Fownes of Calgary, Aunts, Peggy Ayer (Chesley) of Edgett’s
Landing and Janet Wilbur-Morton (Arnold) of Moncton. She
will also be missed by several cousins, all her extended family and
friends.
She was predeceased by her father, Brian Fownes; aunt
Sharon Brantall
She will be resting at the Albert County Funeral Home on
Friday evening from 7-9pm. The funeral service will be at
the funeral home on Saturday, July 29th, 2023 at 3:00pm with Rev.
Wayne Johnson officiating. Interment will be in the Green
Hill Cemetery, Edgett’s Landing, NB.
Donations to a Living Memorial to help the family would be
greatly appreciated.
