Donald Gordon Drinkwater was born on January 21, 1942 to Alvin and Mary Drinkwater in Maple Creek, SK. He was raised on the family farm in Piapot, SK along with his two brothers and two sisters.
Don had several jobs throughout his career and spent the last forty plus years working in the mining industry. He was loved and respected by his co-workers and peers and maintained many of those friendships throughout his life.
Don was a man of many talents and excelled at anything he put his hand to. He was always willing to help and was the first call when family needed anything done.
One of Don’s greatest enjoyments in life was fishing and he looked forward to the annual men’s family fishing trip. He always came home with many stories, some true, some embellished and some not shared.
Don will be forever loved and will live on through the memories shared by the people who loved him.
A Private Family Service will be held.
Friends so wishing may make memorial contributions to Naicam Ambulance.
