Donald Arnold passed away peacefully in the Long Lake Valley Integrated Facility on September 14, 2024 at the age of 92. Don is survived by his beloved son Robert Arnold (Isabelle Roth). He is also survived by his sister. Sheila (Erwin) Yunker, daughter-in-laws Elaine Rodman and Lorna Rodman, numerous grandchildren and their families. He was predeceased by his wife, Vera Arnold, and stepsons, Clifford Rodman, Bert Rodman, Russel Rodman and Bill Rodman. Don was born in Stalwart, Saskatchewan on April 13, 1932 to Emil and Helen Arnold and grew up there with his 4 siblings George, Bernard, Ted and Sheila. Don farmed in Imperial for many years with his wife, Vera. He had numerous other jobs over his lifetime. He worked for the RM of Big Arm as an equipment operator, in the mines of BC, at the Hill Brothers slaughterhouse, and drove the local school bus. Don always loved it when friends stopped by for a coffee. He also enjoyed bingo, shuffleboard, cards and his flowers. When he was younger, Don loved watching and playing baseball, hockey and curling. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Long Lake Valley Integrated Facility. A Private Family Graveside Service will take place at Imperial Cemetery on Saturday, September 21, 2024.
