It is with broken hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Dominic Albanese, beloved father of Adam, former husband and dear friend, Susan Albanese, son of Frank Albanese and the late Theresa Albanese, brother of Mary Pietrorazio (Tony), Lucy Albanese, Rita Rocci (John) and Josy D’Amico (Joe). Loved one of many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Dominic Albanese will be dearly missed by all that have had the pleasure of knowing him and experiencing his generous nature. After a lengthy battle with various health issues, he was surrounded by loving family at his passing.
Visitation will be held at Bay Gardens Funeral Home, 947 Rymal Rd E, Hamilton on Monday, October 21st from 2-8 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, 63 Highway 20 E, Stoney Creek on Tuesday, October 22nd at 10 am. Entombment to follow at Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Cemetery, 681 Mud St E, Stoney Creek.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society and the Heart and Stroke fund would be appreciated. Special thank you to family and friends, his sisters, Susan Albanese, Tony and Linda Aceti and Mimmo and Lucy Plar, for the love and support that he so richly deserved.
