Domenico DiBella
The family announces with great sorrow his sudden passing at the Timmins and District Hospital on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at the age of 88 years. He is predeceased by his beloved wife Carmen (née Prieto) in 2012 and his daughter Maria DiBella in 2011. Cherished father of Giuseppe “Joe” (Jacqueline), loving grandfather of Cassandra and Rebecca DiBella. Dear brother of Giovanni Di Bella (late Ferol) of North Bay, Filomena Di Bella (Rocco Dolce) of Italy, Giuseppina Di Brizzi (late Nicola) of Chicago and Salvatore Di Bella (Catherine Adams) of Stratford. Predeceased by his sister Antonietta Di Bella (late Francesco Libretti), his brother Francesco Di Bella his brother Rocco Di Bella (Carmela) and his sister Michelina Di Bella (Gaetano La Veglia).
Domenico will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends from Europe, North America and South America.
Domenico had a unique work career spanning from Europe and South America. He retired from Kidd Creek mines after 25 years. Domenico enjoyed working in his garden and loved more than anything being in the company of his granddaughters.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to Marilyn Perron for all of her support.
Visitation will take place on Friday, August 25, 2023 from 12 noon to 1:45pm followed by a chapel service at 2pm from the Miron-Wilson Funeral Home chapel (Father Simon Drapeau officiating). Remembrance donations to the ALS Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to MIRON-WILSON FUNERAL HOME, Cremation and Reception Centre, 150 Balsam St. S., Timmins.
