It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the peaceful passing of our dear Filippo DiIorio of Etobicoke on Wednesday, March 20th, 2024 at the age of 84. He will be missed by his loving and cherished wife of nearly 60 years, Lucy, his children Mary (Gino), Lina, Gina (Phil) and Joe as well as his grandchildren Andrea, Robert, Jonathan, Julia, Vanessa and Andrew. Son of the late Maria Donata and Giuseppe DiIorio. He will be fondly remembered by his siblings Lucia (and the late Antonio Capuano), the late Tony (Lina DiIorio), and Gina (Frank Franchino), brother-in-law Phil (and the late Phyllis LaPenna), and the late Mary (and late Ugo Falcone).
Lovingly remembered by many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the G.H. Hogle Funeral Home, 63 Mimico Ave., Toronto on Saturday March 23, 2024 from 2–4 and 6- 9 p.m. and Sunday March 24, 2024 from 7–9 p.m. Funeral Mass at Holy Angels Catholic Church, 61 Jutland Road , Toronto on Monday March 25, 2024 at 11 a.m.

Those we love don’t go away. They walk beside us everyday, unseen, unheard, but always near. So loved, so missed, and so held dear.
