Obituary
After battling severe respiratory issues, and healing from a broken hip, it is with heavy hearts we announce the peaceful passing of Dianne Rourke on April 24, 2024, at Southlake Regional Health Centre at the age of 82. Reunited in heaven with her beloved husband A. John, and son Sean. Loving mother of Stéphanie (Rob), Jennifer (Tom) and Kelly Anne (Gary). Proud grandmother of Luke, Taylor, Karley, Dakota, Travis, Spencer, and Alma. Great grandmother to Theo. Dear sister of Noreen, and aunt to many beloved nieces and nephews. Dianne will be remembered for her sassy sense of humour, classy style, immense kindness, superstar receptionist at CHUM Radio, and cheerful volunteer at St. John’s Rehab where she served for 10 years with her husband John. She was thoughtful in her gift/card giving, loved to dance (Alouette Majorettes, ballet, and all the weddings), she travelled to many places around the world but she truly loved “her island” Barbados. Dianne will be sadly missed and held dear in the hearts of her many extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in honour of Dianne may be made to Sunnybrook Foundation (St. John’s Rehab Program).
