Obituary of Diane Hamelin
At the Hawkesbury General Hospital on Tuesday, April 25,2023 surrounded by her family and friends, Diane Hamelin (née Lavigne) of Vankleek Hill passed away at the age of 77. She was born in Lochiel, Ontario and became a long-time resident of Vankleek Hill. Predeceased by her parents John and Géraldine Lavigne. Loving mother of Rachel and Luc (Judith). Cherished grandmother of Vanessa, Jason and Noémie. Fond great-grandmother of Cedric. Dear sister of Juliette and Cecile. predeceased by her sisters Lucille, Yvette, Rita, and her brother John. Sadly, missed by her 3 nieces; Adèle, Debbie and Agathe and her 7 nephews; Gilles, Yvon, Jacques, Michel, Roddy, Norman, and Alain. Also survived by her brothers-in-law Jules and Denis.
Diane enjoyed spending time in her garden, house-keeping and attending various social activities.
At Diane’s request funeral arrangements are private.
