Obituary For Diane Margaret Trottier
Diane Margaret Trottier (nee Weller), resident of Clairmont, AB, passed away peacefully, with her loving husband by her side, on Friday, December 30, 2022, at the age of 73. Loving wife and best friend of Louis Trottier.
Diane was born November 28, 1949, to Harold and Vivian Weller in Hythe, AB. She grew up on the family farm at Hythe. Later she would live with her grandmother Gladys Park to attend school in Grande Prairie.
Diane married and moved north where she worked with children of the north that resided in hostels and residential schools. Within a couple years of moving to the north, Diane started her banking career with her first position being in Fort Simpson. Throughout her career she worked for the CIBC and Royal Bank until retirement. She was blessed with many lifelong friendships that were formed during her years of working.
She is survived by her husband Louis Trottier; daughters Tammy (Rob) Dostaler and Tracy Moore; grandchildren: Kamille (Cody), Carley (Carter); Devyn, and Shaylee; great-grandchildren: Liam, Brexin, Wes, and Crew; as well as sisters Bobbi Weller and Lorna (Darren) Dowling.
Diane was predeceased by her parents Harold and Vivian Weller; grandmother Gladys Park; brother Lindsay Weller; as well as sister in-law Diane Weller.
