It is with sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Diane Carrière, née Lalonde, of L’Orignal, Ontario, on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at the age of 78. Beloved wife of Roland A. Carrière. Dear daughter of the late Rolland Lalonde and the late Stella Lett (Dugald Harkin). Loving mother of Daniel and Linda (Sarah Casey) and grandmother of Tristan, Mathis and Alycia Carrière, Lily, Carson and Nolan Sleigh. Also survived by her sister-in-law, Juliette (Jean-Jacques Vinette) and two nieces, Claire (Luc McArdle) and Lise (Peter Hamilton). Diane will be fondly remembered by many friends.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024 at 11 a.m. at St. Victor Church, Alfred, followed by interment at Parish Cemetery. The family would like to extend an invitation to family and friends to meet them at the church before the funeral from 10 a.m.
A special thank you to the staff of the Champlain Residence, L’Orignal, for their dedication, compassion and devoted care provided to Diane.
