Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at the age of 60. Daughter of the late Denis Laderoute and Lucille Amyotte. Beloved wife of Graham Blake. Devoted and special mother of Mathieu, Kyle (Santanna), Kristopher (Kayla), Stephanie (Nik) and Korey. Adored grandmother of Emmet, Connor and Elvira. Dear sister of Barbara (Desmond), Lise (Nelson), Martine (Neil) and Kimberley (Richard). Denise will be sadly missed by her only sister-in-law Saundra as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and large circle of friends.
Friends may call at the Hayes Funeral Home, 195 Principale Street, Fort-Coulonge, Quebec on Thursday, December 14, 2023 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 15 in Église St-Pierre, Fort-Coulonge at 11 a.m.

My heart is heavy in hearing the passing of my dear friend Denise. I had the pleasure of knowing her and working on her behalf for several years. During these years, I grew to know and adore Denise and her family. She was an absolutely beautiful person, wife, sister, grandmother and friend. I offer my most sincere condolences to the family and friends of Denise. The world has certainly lost a shining star and she will be missed deeply.
I hope her beautiful spirit and memory can be a source of comfort for her family and friends during this difficult time.
