Passed away peacefully on January 2, 2024 with her loving family by her side at 94 years of age. Reunited with her beloved husband Idola (2001), her daughter Lise Harris (2001) and son-in-law Larry Meloche (2015).
Loving mother of Lynne Meloche, Paul and Brenda Chabot, Donald and Jeannette Chabot and son-in-law Tim Harris. Cherished Grandmaman of Lizanne (Sasha), Paul (Cassandra), Matthew (Suji), Michael (Kayla), Holly (Dustin), Brett (Rebekah) and great-grandmaman of Luka, Stella, Elize,Theo, Brady, Jordan, Jack, Leah, Joni, Lincoln, Sophie and Miles. Daughter of the late Edgar and Bernadette (nee Loiselle) Caillé.
Dear sister-in-law of Irene Caillé and Therese Chabot. Predeceased by sisters Cecile, Aurore, Louise, Beatrice, Irene, Murielle, and brothers Wilfred, Arthur, Roland and Armand. Mom is survived by many dear nieces and nephews. Denise had many close friends from her church, former schoolmates, card clubs, and fitness clubs. Founding member of St. Jerome Church and Place Concorde. Denise was a retired teacher from Windsor Separate School Board after 35 years of service. Denise loved to travel but her most treasured time was spent with her family and friends. She loved music and when she could no longer dance she wiggled to the music in her chair.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 5, 2024 from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. A celebration of life will be held the following day, Saturday, January 6, 2024 at 11:00am. at Families First, 1065 Lauzon Road. Cremation to follow.
