With profound love and remembrance, we announce the passing of our dear mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great-great grandmother on December 4, 2024, at 94 years of age. She touched our lives with her kindness, wisdom, and everlasting warmth. She is now joyfully reunited with her beloved late husband, Roger (2020), embracing the warmth of their eternal companionship. Treasured and devoted mother to Linda Bisson (late Don), Brenda Barron (Roger), Gary Heyrman (Joanne), and Susan Nelson (Keith). She was deeply adored, and her love shone brightly in the lives of her 10 grandchildren and their spouses, 15 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren, who all cherished her dearly. She is predeceased by all her 10 brothers and sisters. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Delight was beautiful inside and out. She meant the world to us and could practically do anything. She was a super devoted wife, and their love story was incredible. Delight was a devoted mother and grandmother who always put her family first. Special thanks to the staff at Harrowood Retirement Home and Country Village HCC for taking great care of our mom.
Delight is resting at the Kennedy Funeral Home Limited (519-776-7378) 128 Talbot St. North Es on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will take place from the funeral home on Monday at 11 a.m. Interment to follow at Country Meadows Cemetery. Donations may be made to the Salvation Army-Es Community Church. Family and friends are invited to share memories online at www.kennedyfh.
