In Loving Memory of Debora (Debby) Pearson
With profound sadness, we announce the sudden loss of our beloved mother, wife, sister, and friend, Debby Pearson (nee Thompson), who peacefully passed away at Belleville General Hospital on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at the age of 71, after a brief illness. Predeceased by her parents Ralph «Tommy» and Hazel Thompson (nee Grant), Debby leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth that touched the lives of all who knew her.
A devoted wife of 51 years to Gary Pearson, a loving mother to Andrew Pearson (Hilary) and Amber Pearson. She took pride in her role as a grandmother to Alexis Derouchie and Cooper Pearson. Debby is survived by her siblings Patricia Mochrie (John), Barbara Thibodeau (Ron), Bonnie Thompson, Gary Thompson (Annette), and Marion Thompson. Her memory will be cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Born in Trenton, Debby took pride in her roots as a member of a military family. Her journey led her to attend Belleville Business College, and she fondly cherished her time working as an Administrative Assistant in various fields. Yet, it was her unwavering love for music that truly defined her spirit. Debby wore her heart on her sleeve, and her deep affection for her family and music touched every aspect of her life.
A true lover of wildlife, Debby held a special fondness for Canadian Geese, embodying her passion for the beauty of the natural world. Her absence leaves a void that words cannot adequately express. Debby was the adhesive that bound many of us together, and her presence will be profoundly missed.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation will take place, and a visitation will be held at the Weaver Family Funeral Home – West Chapel -170 Dundas Street, Trenton on Thursday February 22nd from 10:00am – 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy through donations to Trenton Memorial Hospital Foundation, Fixed Fur Life, and the Quinte Humane Society.
