INDIAN ISLAND, NB – Dean Knockwood 54, of Indian
Island passed away as the result of a motor vehicle accident on
Friday, May 24, 2024. Born in Moncton, he was the son of
James Joseph Knockwood and Murielle (Joseph)
Knockwood.
Dean will be sadly missed by his parents, James and Muriel
Knockwood of Indian Island; one daughter, Peyton Simon of Eel Ground;
one son, Ronnie Joseph of Elsipogtog and four
grandchildren.
He is also survived by one sister, Kimberly Knockwood; two
brothers, William John Knockwood, Adam Knockwood all of Indian Island
and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and
cousins.
Dean was predeceased by his grandparents, Clarence and Marion
Joseph of Elsipogtog; William Knockwood of Dorchester and Margaret
Knockwood of Indian Island and many aunts and
uncles.
Visitation will be held at his parent’s home, 192
Island Drive, Indian Island beginning on Wednesday at 2:00 pm until
time of the funeral. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on
Friday, May 31, 2024 at 10:30 am at St. Kateri Tekakwitha Roman
Catholic Church in Indian Island.
