Obituary of Dawn Robertson
It is with sadness that we announce that our mother and grandmother passed on September 21, 2024, at Hope Terrace, Port Hope, ON. Dawn was born in Arvida, QUE., and was the only child of the late Gordon and Constance [Nice] Cunningham of Sus, NB.
Dawn is survived by her five children from her first husband, the late John Haines: Michelle [Andre] Lavictoire of St. Andrews West, ON., Bruce Haines of Uganda, Africa [June first wife, and Dianne second wife], Gordon Haines [Beverley] of Mississauga, ON., Robin Haines of Trenton, ON., Craig Haines of Amherstburg, ON. Nana will be sadly missed by 14 grandchildren: Daniel, Kyle, Chase, Cassidy, Sydney, Joshua, Matthew, Rachel, Simon, Rebekah, CJ, Jacob, Brooklyn and Madison and 7 great grandchildren. Dawn is also survived by her many extended family and friends.
Dawn will be fondly remembered for her love of music, dancing, painting and family dogs. She had an insatiable entrepreneurial gift and a smile that would light up the room. May she rest in peace with choirs of angels, surrounded by flowers to paint.
The interment will take place at Kirkhill Cemetery, Sus, NB., where she will join her parents.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the staff of the Hope Street Terrace for all the loving care provided to Dawn during her stay.
