Dawn Elizabeth Casselman (nee Kennedy) peacefully passed at the Brockville General Hospital Palliative Care Unit on Sunday, November 17, 2024, at the age of 75. Beloved wife of Lloyd Casselman. Loving mother of Niki Stewart (Barry) of Oxford Station. Dear sister of Kim (Lorne Cassie) of Johnstown. Dear aunt of Delores Wilson of Brockville, Nathan Cassie (Kelly) of Williamsburg, and Keith Woods (Kim) of Spencerville. Predeceased by her parents Howard and Madeline Kennedy, infant brother Daniel and sister Debbie. In better times, Dawn loved her pets, reading and writing (she had a column in the Prescott Journal paper) and 36 holes of golf each day, as weather permitted.
Funeral Arrangements
At Dawn’s request there will be no visitation or services. Those who wish to make memorial donations to the SPCA, Brockville General Palliative Care Unit, or the Cardinal Public Library would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. Online condolences may be made at marsdenmclaughlin.com.
