Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, December 16, 2023. Beloved husband of Lilliana Vocisano for fifty-three years. Devoted father and father-in-law of Fred Simpson and Carolyn Bieganowski, Michael Simpson and Betty Winterfeld, and Rachel Simpson. Cherished grandpa of Candice and Chris, Jarrad and Mingee, and Jason; Harrison, and Stephanie; and Sebastian. Proud great-grandfather of Maia. Dear brother and brother-in-law of the late Leah and the late Moses Katz and the late Nathan Letovsky; and brother-in-law of Yolanda, Roberto, Mario, and the late Rinaldo. David will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the staff of Château Westmount for their care and devotion. Funeral service from Paperman & Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St. W., on Wednesday, December 20 at 11:00 a.m. Burial at the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery. Shiva at his home Wednesday following burial until 4:00 p.m. and from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., and Friday from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Contributions in David’s memory may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Research Fund for Dr. Jack Antel c/o the Montreal Neurological Hospital, (514) 398-1958.
