Obituary
SNOW, David Michael – 61, of Upper Clyde, passed away on August 5, 2023, at the Yarmouth Regional Hospital, Yarmouth. Beloved son of Richard (deceased) and Norma Snow (nee Van Amburg). Brother of Richard (Mary), Jeff (Sherri-Lynn), and Laura (Paul) Loving father of Justin (Jayna) and Jordan (Lexi). Doting father to Jordan (Megan) and Taylor. Uncle to Vanessa, Jarrett, Tyler, Cooper, Amy, Parker, Ella, Richard (3rd ), Tatijana, and Iliana. Grandfather to Amelia, Olivia, Sutter and Emma. David lived for his family and would go to the wall for those he loved. A steadfast and reliable friend, he would always have your back if you were in trouble. If you weren’t in trouble, he would ensure you would be soon. As a professional driver, David was always behind the wheel. Whether drag racing the back highways of Sudbury in his Camaro; or trucking along the sheer Alaska highways. If it had a working engine, Dave could drive it. If it didn’t, Dave would fix it up and make it ready to race. If it had David, it was reliable. The “Snowman” may be gone, but he has left permanent impressions on all who loved him. He will be dearly missed by friends and family alike. There will be a visitation held Wednesday, August 9, from 7-9 pm at the H. M. Huskilson’s Memorial Chapel, Barrington, where the funeral service will follow on Thursday, August 10, at 2 pm. The service will be livestreamed for all those unable to attend. Interment will be in Riverdale Cemetery, Riverhead. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of choice.
