With sadness, the MacLennan family announces that David Malcolm MacLennan passed away after a long struggle on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 in his 80th year.
Beloved husband for 56 years to Ruth. Loving father of Dan, Mike (Lillian) and Matt (Morgan Bogad). Proud grandfather of Cole. Dear brother of Frank (Jeaninne Lacroix) and Catherine (Arthur) Lavergne. Dave was a special uncle to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his brothers Ronald and John.
Friends may visit the family at the Garden Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 3440 Richmond Road (between Bayshore and Baseline Road) on Saturday, April 13, 2024 from 10 to 11 a.m.
A Celebration of Dave’s Life will be held in the Chapel at 11 a.m. followed by a reception. Private burial Pinecrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Dave’s memory can be made to the Ottawa Heart Institute or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
