ALDOUANE, NB – It is with profound sadness that the
family announces the passing of David Keith Bailey at the Dr.
Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Center on Monday, March
4th 2024. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, he was
the son of Arvine and the late Geraldine (McLaughlin)
Bailey.
David was a kind and loving soul. He never met a stranger.
Very friendly and outgoing, he would help anyone in need. His love was
strong and his sense of family and fate in God were very important to
him. He was a man of honor, ex military, loved computers and loved
animals. He enjoyed feeding the birds and welcomed his two returning
ducks each spring. He will be missed so very much.
David will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Audrey
(Daigle) Bailey; his stepsons, Jason Poirier (Amanda) of
Saint-Charles, Erik Poirier (Lyne) of Bouctouche; his three
grandchildren, Spencer, Mia, Isella; his two fur baby girls, Tess and
Maddie.
David also leaves to mourn his two sons, Jeremiah and
Jonathan Bailey of Indianapolis, Indiana; his four brothers, Earl,
Mark, Jim (late Vicky) and Christopher; his sister Debbie Evans
(Miguel) – all of Indianapolis, Indiana; his goddaughter
Alexis as well as many nieces and nephews.
As per David’s request, there will be no
visitation. A celebration of David’s life will be held at a
later date and he will be laid to rest in the Aldouane
Cemetery.
A celebration of David’s life will also be held in
Indianapolis, Indiana. As per his request, some of his ashes will be
returned with his family in the US.
The family wishes to thank the staff at the Intensive Care
Unit (Surgical) at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital for
their care. A special thanks to Dr. Comeau, Dr. Doiron and Dr.
Allard.
