It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of our father David Earl Bilow, who passed away surrounded by his chosen family on Friday October 18, after a lengthy battle with cancer. David was in his 63rd year.
David was predeceased by his loving father Earl and his older sister Kim.
David was a loving father to his three sons, Eric (Eleisha), Dominic (Nicole) and Jeremy. He was blessed to have had time with his only grandchild Orson, Eric and Eleisha’s child. A special thanks to Sandra for her love and support. David is survived by his mother Vivian, his sister, his brother, their families, several nephews, a niece, cousins, aunts, and uncles. David’s life-long friends, Stuart & Rose Clark and Mike & Doreen Guimont held a special place in David’s heart. David’s sons and Sandra would like to express their heartfelt gratitude and love for the friendship and loving support that was given endlessly to David through the years, especially during this challenging time.
David was a lifelong Kingstonian, who touched the lives of others with his kind and gentle soul. He will be forever remembered as a quiet, gentle man who lived simply, enjoying the quiet moments of life.
As per David’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a Celebration of Life will be held at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingson (please enter by the rear doors) on Sunday, October 27 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Light refreshments will be served. David has asked that those attending his Celebration of Life, share a memory in writing or a photo as a keepsake for his sons. A book will be provided. Family inurnment will take place at Glenhaven Memorial Gardens.
