David Arthur Miller
Dave passed away suddenly on January 6th, 2024, at the age of 65.
He was a long-time resident of Sydenham Ontario. Dave was born on August 15th, 1958, in Victoria B.C. He was predeceased by his parents, Clifford (Dusty) Miller and Helen (Devall) Miller. Dave will be missed by his brother Larry Miller, sister-in-law Judy (Allen) Miller of Delta B.C., and his aunt Noreen (Miller) Kimber of Ajax Ontario. He is survived by his niece Cassandra (Miller) King, nephews Craig Miller and Curtis Miller and many cousins, grand nieces, and nephews.
Dave will also be sorely missed by Carol Whyman and the Whyman family, and his friends and neighbours in the Sydenham area.
Dave would warmly greet all visitors at Carol’s gatherings. Summer get togethers and pool parties won’t be the same without Dave’s famous garlic shrimp dishes.
Dave was always collecting and sharing recipes from BBQ to the search for the perfect hot sauce. He enjoyed trying new and different foods and cooking techniques.
He was an avid billiard player and would be eager to challenge anyone who dared.
Dave was pre-deceased by his loving dogs Knobby & Storm and was always ready to pamper any visiting dogs.
He had a generous soul and was always ready to help out his Sydenham friends.
Cremation has occurred and there will be no visitation or services, but an informal celebration of life, for family and friends will be held in the summer, in Sydenham.
Donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada in Dave’s memory.
