David Anthony
Wilkinson of Belmont passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at home.
Born in 1945 in Hull, Yorkshire, England, David was the son of the
late Irene Hebblewhite and Arthur Wilkinson.
In his youth, David
proudly served as a member of the British Army. In the late 1960s, he
made a significant life move, relocating to Canada and finally, found
his home on the east coast of Canada.
He is survived by his
daughter, Denise Marie Armstrong. Laurie, Lee and Gemma Ferdinand,
dear friends who became like family, provided immeasurable support
during David’s end-of-life journey, offering comfort and
care that will be forever cherished.
In accordance with
David’s wishes, there will be no funeral service. The family
appreciates the support during this time. In lieu of flowers,
donations to a local homeless shelter or the SPCA are
welcomed.
Arrangements are
entrusted to Mattatall-Varner Funeral Home, 55 Young Street, Truro.
