Obituary of Dave Small
It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of Dave Small on the evening of Tuesday, December 10th, 2024 with his family by his side, in his 78th year. He was a fighter and fought to the very end. His final journey was peaceful, and we couldn’t have asked for anything more.
The love of his life of 55 years, Janet(Lane) Small, stood by his side the entire time. Dear father to Carrie Brooks and husband Dave and Ed Small and wife Dawn. Loving grandfather to Riley Brooks, Mat Brooks, Tanner Brooks, Zac Small, Amanda Qubti and Alexandra Small. Bonus-grandchildren Ashley Brooks, Shania Goodhew, Chelsey Hillis and Josh Qubti. And Papa Papa (great-grandpa) to Sophie, Hudson and Rhiannon. Born in London, Ontario on March 4, 1947, son of the late Harry and Marg(McFarlan) Small. Dave’s licence plate read NABRDAVE and he made friends wherever he went. He enjoyed camping at Port Glasgow campground and looking over the water. He will be missed by many family and friends.

Cremation-burial: Zion Hill Cemetery. A celebration of Dave’s life will be held at the Donnybrook Legion on Sunday, January 5, 2025 from 1-4:00 p.m.
