It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Daphne Fisher.
Predecesed by her parents Roy and Elizabeth Keel, brothers Issac John, Rick, and Gary. Sisters Barbara, Ruby, Doris, Ella and Phyllis and nephew Paul.
Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her husband of 60 years, Ralph, children Derrick (Brenda), Paulette (Randy), Jason (Kelly). Grandchildren Lee (Julia), Jeremy (Lacey), Joshua (Noelle) Hillary and Helana. Great grandchildren Garrett, Bobbi, Ryah and Allie. Brothers Roy (Shirley), Ross (Marina), nieces, nephews, and a large circle of other family and friends.
Daphne was a loving, kind and caring person, a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Daphne showed great strength and courage through her years on earth. She worked at the crab plant for over 40 years where she made life long friends that she cherished always. She enjoyed reading, chatting on the phone with her friends and loved to have family and friends drop by for a visit. She loved to tell stories of her childhood especially about her mom and dad and siblings.
She loved a laugh, always had a smile and was a woman who never complained. She loved singing her hymns especially to dad this past year. Loved by many and going to be missed by all family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 27th and Thursday, September 28th from 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-9:00pm at Strathie’s Funeral Home
Funeral Service will take place on Friday, September 29th, at 2:00pm from Memorial United Church.
