Obituary
Danny passed away at the Hampton Terrace Care Centre on December 16, 2024 at the age of 74, leaving behind his beloved wife of 46 years, Patti (Norris), and their cherished children: Tina Regert (Jeremie) and Mark Dovidio (Laurie). He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren: Max, Danica, Gavin, Savannah, and Taylor.
Danny was predeceased by his parents, Domenico and Augostina Dovidio, and is survived by his siblings: Nina (Julio), Sylvia (Bill), Lucy (John), and Theresa (Lino). He will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A passionate sports fan, Danny was an avid supporter of the Toronto Maple Leafs and a long-time season ticket holder for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. He enjoyed playing snooker and darts, reading, and spending time with the neighborhood children, playing sports in the street. Danny also had a deep love for music, with Frank Sinatra being one of his all-time favorites. His greatest passion, however, was golf, which he enjoyed for many years.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the wonderful staff at Hampton Terrace Care Centre for the loving care and support they provided.
Visitation at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL on Saturday, January 4th, 2025 from 12 p.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Danny’s name to a charity of your choice.
