With broken hearts and great sadness, we announce the loss of our beloved son and brother, Daniel Wesley Boyes, affectionately known as Danny, who passed away on February 3, 2024, peacefully in his sleep, age 58.
Loved by parents, Budd and Elaine (Brown) Boyes, sisters Lorena Uniac, Tracy and brother-in-law Andy Moore and brother Byron Boyes. Fondly remembered by nieces and nephews Jessica and Trevor Uniac, Rayna and Landon Moore and Wesley, Clayton and Jackson Boyes and special friend Kim. Missed by aunts and uncles Pat and Bruce Schoenhals, Bev and Pat Boyes, Bayne Boyes and Bonnie Boyes. Predeceased by brother-in-law Gary Uniac, Grandparents Iva and Bert Boyes and Charles and Hazel Brown.
Danny responded to anyone in need and loved to help. He will be missed by his many friends in the community. He was a faithful employee of Campbell Transport and then Howson Flour Mill of Blyth for over 23 years, retiring in 2021. Dan will be remembered for his sense of humour, he could be depended upon for a funny comment at just the right time while always being kind. Little Maggie and Daisy will miss their gentle Dan, they eagerly waited for him every day at the window for their walks and time together. Danny made our lives better and brighter and will be missed.
