Obituary of Daniel William Feke
We are devastated to share the passing of Daniel William Feke, age 59, on Sunday June 9th, 2024, at St Joseph’s Hospice in London, surrounded by his loving family. Husband of 21 years to his soul mate Connie Feke (Juergens). Devoted father to his daughter Julia Feke and to his loving stepchildren Liana and Braden Johnston. Dan will be greatly missed by his devoted parents Willie and Linda Feke, his sister Shannon Feke as well as his niece and nephew Ashleigh and Travis Parkinson. He was dearly loved by his late mother-in-law Lena Juergens (2019) as well as all of his brothers and sisters-in-law. Dan is also survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles and cousins who will miss him dearly. Dan made his mark in the electrical contracting community. His dedication to his work allowed him to create a very successful electrical contracting business in London. He was well respected by the contractors he was involved with, and they will greatly feel this loss. He will be sadly missed by his Wednesday night running group and had many cherished memories with them over the years. Dan will also be missed by the Young Camp hunters who he spent many seasons deer hunting and creating long lasting friendships at his cabin up north. Dan had many friends and neighbours in his life that were so special to him. Beers over the fence and shared meals were something he loved. We would like to send a thank you to the Palliative care outreach team and the amazing staff at St Joseph’s Hospice who cared for him in such a loving way. The whole team treated Dan and our family with the utmost care and respect to the very end.
Cremation has taken place. Our thanks to Elliott Madill Funeral Home in Mt. Brydges for their care during this time. There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, July 6, 2024, from 2:00-4:00pm at the Delaware Legion. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to St. Joseph’s Hospice would be greatly appreciated.
