Peacefully at his late residence on Friday, July 19, 2024 of
Daniel Roderick (Roddy) MacLeod of Hartsville, age 84
years.
Beloved husband of the late Phyllis J. (nee Parker) MacLeod.
Loving partner of Rita Matters. Dear father of Diane (James) Boswall
of Frenchfort, Jamie (dec.) (Vicki) of Cornwall, Carolyn Mooney (Joe,
dec.) of Charlottetown, Andrew (Natalie Fraser) of Mermaid
and Anita (Graham) MacDougall of Hartsville.
He is survived by twelve loving grandchildren: Andrew (Kara
Roy), Ian (Amber Jameson) and Meghan (Marshall Dunn) Boswall; Katie
and Alex (Madison Vincent) MacLeod; Emily and Rachel McDonald; Jack
and Emma MacDougall; Anna, Daniel and Ellen MacLeod and four
great-grandchildren Madeline and Blair Boswall and Isabelle and Angus
Boswall.
Pre-deceased by his parents Lloyd and Florence MacLeod and
sister, Marilyn (Billy) Kennedy, and great grandchildren,
Allison and Bradley Boswall.
Remembered fondly by the Parker, Kennedy and Matters
families.
Resting at the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home
for visitation on Monday July 22, from 5-8pm. The funeral service will
be held on Tuesday, July 23 at 10:30 a.m. in the Funeral Home Chapel.
Internment at 1pm in Hartsville Presbyterian Church
Cemetery.
