Obituary
Daniel Maurice Hermary passed away at home at the age of 63, surrounded by many family and friends. He ended his year long battle with cancer and had the opportunity to say his goodbyes to a vast number of family and friends followed by (Dan style) hotdogs by the fire and telling lots of fishing stories and more.
Dan is survived by his loving wife Connie Marie (nee Cowland) and daughter Angela Michelle Heinze. Dan also leaves to grieve his mother Olive Burns, brothers Michael (Tracy), Terry (Madeline), Richard (Bobbi), Tom, sister Linda (Anthony), many nephews and nieces, including one great nephew, who all loved him to bits. Daisy, his special fur-baby will surely miss daddy’s secret sneaky sardine treats.
Dan is predeceased by his father Maurice Hermary.
Dan’s journey in life was filled with heartfelt love for everyone he met. Dan had a heart of gold and will be immensely missed by all who knew him.
A fishing derby will be held in the summer of 2023 in Dan’s honour. In memory of Dan, donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association or the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
