It is with great sadness to announce the sudden passing of Daniel Francis Roulette Jr.on December 22, 2023 at the St.Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg Manitoba, with his loving family by his side.
Daniel was born on May 27, 1986, in Portage La Prairie, MB. Daniel was a generous, loving husband, father, son, grandpa, brother, uncle, nephew, godson, godfather and friend. Everyone knew him by his nickname “Cody”.
He had many skills in all different areas of work. Cody was gifted and talented in so many ways. Cody enjoyed listening to loud music while working in the garage. He enjoyed working on ski-doos during the winter. He would spend long hours in the garage working on the machines to make them fast. Mudbogging was also one of his favourite things to do. He modified his very own mud bogging truck for racing, which he was very proud of. His truck was fast and loud, and won him many trophies. Cody had many years of experience in welding, he loved using his welder for most of the jobs he did. Cody’s latest interest was auto body. He had so much patience and commitment for his projects. Cody always kept himself busy in the garage. He enjoyed having friends over, and they would help him in every way they can to get the job done.
Cody showed unconditional love to his family. He was very loving, supportive and protective of his family. His wife Candace, and their daughters meant the world to him. Everything he did, was for them.
His grandson was his pride and joy. He was always so happy to see Kyler, he would say “Grandson” and the baby would greet him with the biggest, most beautiful smile. Kyler made his grandpa very proud.
Cody was such a caring brother. He was the sibling to ask, when advice was needed. He shared his words of wisdom with them straight from his heart. He was always there for them when they needed a shoulder to lean on. Cody loved his siblings so much.
Cody had a passion for horses. He had his very own horse named Stone. Stone held a special place in his heart. He truly believed that horses were very beautiful, strongly powerful for prayer and relaxing to be around.
We will always remember Cody for his great sense of humour and his generosity. It is such a blessing to have Cody in our memories. We will forever cherish the stories he shared with us. Cody was very approachable, he brought joy, laughter, and positive energy into our lives.
Daniel is predeceased by his mother Norma Richard; grandparents; Joe & Harriet Richard (maternal); Joseph &Amelia Roulette (paternal) and Godfather Brion Whitford
He leaves to mourn his father Daniel (Smokey); partner Candace; his daughters Danita ”Baby Blue” (Raiden), Daelyn “Little Daelun” (Tommy), Danelle “Chi-Bobou” and Chanel “Channy”; his grandsons Aidan and Kyler “Grandson” and one grandson on the way; his siblings; (sisters) Rachel, Tiffany, Val “Elly”, Lauren “Gar”(Fran) and Laurian “Tiny”; (brothers) Jason and Presley “Walter”(Aislyn); Godmother Georgina “Buggy”; Godchild Valencia; his in-laws Franklin & Brenda; His sister in-law Michelle (Derek); brother in-law Franklin (Autumn); his nieces Shae-Lynn, Jacinda, Jaida, Rehannah, Randie, Rachel Jr., Echo, and Valencia; his nephews Jason Jr., Billy, Gerald Jr., Albert, Syrus, Elmer, Justin Jr., Stephen, Justice, Boone, Derek Jr., and Franco and also numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
