Bathurst- Dale Leonard Thibodeau, age 62, of O’Neil Ave., Bathurst, passed away on Sunday June 23, 2024, with his family by his side at the Chaleur Regional Hospital in Bathurst, after a seven-year battle with Fronto Temporal Dementia.
Born in Bathurst, he was the son of the late Leonard Thibodeau and the late Agatha (LaPointe) Thibodeau.
He was a fun loving, equal partner and devoted husband to Donna Berry Thibodeau for 39 years, fabulous father to his only son, Kyle (Jenn) of Oromocto and proud Pappy to grandsons Jaxon and Huxley.
One brother, Darren Thibodeau.
Also survived by several nieces, nephews.
Besides his parents, he was pre-deceased by a brother, Michael.
He enjoyed travelling down south extensively, loved camping, riding his Honda, even managed to golf a few seasons at Squire Green. He enjoyed walking, adored dogs and valued true connection, if Dale was your friend, you mattered to him. He was the life of the party and enjoyed a good time and acquired the tittle of “Certified Grill Master”. He will forever remain the love of my life. “Welcome to Paradise City”.
I must express my heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Patrick Eddie and team, Manoir Brise de L’Oasis, the Chaleur Regional Hospital, Emergency, 4th East, 4th West and the Palliative Care Unit for their unending, understanding, patience & loving care they provided for Dale.
There will be no visitations or Funeral Service. A private graveside service will be held at a later date.
God loves all things by becoming them, you can’t get God, God is already with us, in us. Dale’s soul is now connected to “All That Is”
