It is with great sadness we are announcing the passing of Cyril Cotterill of London, Ontario on November 11, 2023 at the age of 95. Born in Sheffield, England on June 2, 1928, Cyril served with the British Army before he and his wife Rosemary immigrated to Canada in 1955. Here they began a new chapter where they raised 3 children, enjoying a very long and content life in which he worked as a machinist, playing darts, golf, spending time with family and being a member of the Byron Legion. Cyril is survived by his children: Julia, Mark (Tara), Deborah (Wade). Grandchildren Richie (Lisa), Megan (Zack), Kelsey (Chris), Jeff, Ryan (Becky), Amanda, Jacob (Brittany), Lauren, Dani and Leah. Great Grandfather to Abby, Tegan, Keiran, Hannah, Marlee, Autumn, Beckham and Jack, sister Brenda Ibbotson, numerous nieces and nephews in England. Pre-deceased by the love of his life and wife of 68 years Rosemary (2020) and his son-in-law Marvin Beck (2012). The Cotterills would like to thank their friends and family for their support at this difficult time. Expressions of sympathy can be made through London Cremation Services at www.londoncremation.com . A private family celebration of life will be held on Saturday November 18, 2023.
