Passed away peacefully at Freeport Hospital after a lengthy illness on Thursday September 14, 2023 at the age of 69 years.
Craig was born in Kitchener to the late Ken and Peggy Johnston. He loved building model airplanes but his passion was riding his Harley!
He will be lovingly remembered by his devoted spouse and best friend, Dianne Doherty who have been together for over 27 years. He is survived by his two children, Aileen and Ken Johnston; by seven grandchildren and by one sister Tammy and step-brother Ken, step-sister Barb, step-son Eric. Special thanks to cousins Jay and David for visiting.
Craig will be fondly remembered by family, by his friends, neighbours and fellow motorcycle enthusiasts.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
You may wish to donate to Canadian Cancer Society as this would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers.
Many thanks for care and support received from nurses and doctors at Freeport palliative care unit and the Fallen Riders support team.
