On Tuesday, May 30, 2023, Corrine Richardson passed away peacefully at Middlechurch Home with her daughter Linda and beloved grand-dog Bella at her side.
Corrine will be missed by her daughter Linda Wall and grand-dog Bella; grandson Tony Wall (Kim); great-grandchildren Breanne (Austin), Bradley (Danika) and Shayna; son-in-law Ron Sesak; grandson William Sesak (Jennifer); great-grandchildren Wyatt and Khloe; grandson Kevin Sesak (Stacey); brother David (Bev) as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sons David and Louis; grandson Jim Wall; daughter Diane Sesak; son-in-law Art Wall; and husband Bill.
Corrine made many special friends during her stay at Middlechurch including Violet who joined her for breakfast, lunch and supper; and Jean whose company she enjoyed in the courtyard feeding peanuts to the squirrels and bluejays.
The Richardson’s fostered many children throughout the years. Corrine was also an active member of the Bronx Park Community Centre, managing the canteen and chaperoning club dances. Throughout the late 1980’s to middle 1990’s, she worked at the YMCA, in the preschool program.
Thanks to Tracy and all the staff on N2 at Middlechurch Home for the care and kindness provided to Corrine during her stay there. Thanks also to all the neighbours and friends made during the Richardson’s many years in East Kildonan.
As per Corrine’s wishes cremation has taken place and a formal service will not be held.
If desired, a donation may be made to the Humane Society, any animal shelter or Middlechurch Home.
