Connor Perry Obituary
Our family is heartbroken to announce the passing of Connor Luke Perry, who passed away at the Saint John Regional Hospital on Sunday, September 22, 2024. Born on March 12, 1998, Connor was the treasured son of Martha Perry (nee Hooper) and David Perry and stepson to Michele Mohan.
In the 26 years Connor was with us, he touched our lives in ways that are difficult to put into words. He was a passionate and generous soul, with a deep sense of sentimentality and compassion that made him truly one of a kind. Connor was a dreamer who lived life on his own terms and was known to friends and family for his incredible sense of humor and long running pranks.
Connor aspired to achieve great things and dreamed of a life where he could provide and care for those he loved. He felt emotions with a rare intensity, and he appreciated nothing more than a great conspiracy theory. His depth of thought and sensitivity to the world around him made him unique, and his absence will leave an irreplaceable void in our hearts.
In addition to his parents, Connor is survived by his wife, Jasmine Perry (nee Donovan), and their two cherished boys, Jackson and Casey Perry. He is also lovingly remembered by his grandmothers, Charline Hooper and Verna Perry.
Connor will be deeply missed by his siblings: Caitlyn (James Bent) Perry, Matthew (Keely Courtorielle) Perry, Courtney (Tyler) Jones, Molly Perry, Jack Perry, Justin Perry, and Josh Perry, as well as his step-siblings: Jon Baber, Rachel Baber, and Thomas Baber.
Additionally, his niece, Hailey, and nephews, Dyson, Kayden, Landon, Tucker, and Mirin, along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends, will forever hold his memory close. Connor was predeceased by his grandfathers, Timothy Hooper and Lorne Perry.
Our family would like to sincerely thank the doctors and nurses in the S.I.C.U. for their exceptional care. We will also always remember the compassion extended to us by the first responders who came to the scene that day, your courage and kindness will never be forgotten.
We are overwhelmed with gratitude for the outpouring of support and prayers from so many during this incredibly challenging time. A special thank you to Connor’s closest friends, Caleb MacBurnie and Nathan Trouten, for your unwavering presence and support, both for Connor and our family throughout these last weeks. Your friendship has been a true blessing.
We are also profoundly thankful to our family at Gateway Victory Church for their generosity, providing thoughtful meals and support that have been shared and deeply appreciated by everyone.
Connor was surrounded by love, and we wish he could have truly known how deeply he was cared for by so many.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Fundy Funeral Home, 230 Westmorland Road (506)-646-2424. A celebration of Connor’s life will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024, at 2:00 PM at Encounter Church (280 St. George Street, Sus, NB), with a reception to follow in the church foyer.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Connor’s spirit by doing something he would do: find a need in your community and meet it, whether by feeding the hungry, supporting the homeless, or providing assistance to seniors or others in need. Donations to a charity of your choice are also greatly appreciated.
