Peacefully at the Avalon Care Centre Orangeville on Sunday, July 9th, 2023 at the age of 64. Beloved husband of Lana Slaney. Dear father of Michelle Cerveira (Mike), Melissa Slaney and Jason Slaney. Cherished papa of Jaiden, Jackson and Kayla. Remembered by his sister Patsi (Bob) and his brother Ken (Kathryn). Predeceased by his brother Eugene Slaney and his parents Lyola and Gladys. Colin will also be greatly missed by his nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held at the Dods & McNair Funeral Home, Chapel & Reception Centre, 21 First St., Orangeville on Wednesday, July 12th, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday, July 13th, 2023 at 2:30 pm. Memorial donations to the Diabetes Association would be appreciated by the family.
A tree will be planted in memory of Colin in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville. 21st Annual Dedication Service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m.
