1956-2024
Following a lengthy illness, Colette Reta McCormick of Centreville,
NB, passed away peacefully at the Upper River Valley Hospital on July
14, 2024.
Colette was born in Grand Falls, NB, on July 6, 1956. She was the
daughter of the late Armand and Jeannine (Gagnon) Martin. Colette
leaves behind her son, Brandon McCormick (Bailee) of Riverbank, NB;
her daughter, Morgan Fisher (Greg) of Centreville, NB; her
grandchildren, Abbigail Tompkins, Liame McCormick, and Alexandre
McCormick; her sisters Claudette Martin (Dale DeLeavey) of Crombie
Settlement, NB, Yvonne Dupuis (Rob) of Grand Falls, NB, and Linda
Nault (Kelly) of Crowsnest Pass, AB; her brothers, Raymond Martin of
Fort St. James, BC, Donald Martin (Diane) of Fort St. James, BC,
Marcel Martin (Diane) of Fort McMurray, AB, Michael Martin (Tracy) of
Weaver, NB; her best friend, Nancy McDougall of Tarrtown, NB; along
with many nieces and nephews.
Colette was predeceased by her parents, and her infant brother, Ronald
Martin.
A celebration of Colette’s life will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas
Catholic Church in Plaster Rock, NB, on Friday July 19, 2024 at 10 am.
Father Gilbert Doddatto celebrating. Interment will follow in the
parish cemetery.
For those who wish, memorial donations to the Mama Bear Cancer Fund
would be appreciated by the family.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Brunswick Funeral Home,
Perth-Andover and Plaster Rock, NB.
