Colette was a compassionate soul who found immense joy in the company of animals, with a special fondness for dogs and birds. She had a green thumb, creating a colorful haven in many of her gardens, and enjoyed the excitement of bingo. Her love for music was a constant melody in her life.
Colette was a devoted mother to her three children, Rheal Konieczny, Rhea Grober (Kourtney Grober), and Krysta Knott. Her nurturing spirit and unwavering support created a foundation of love within her family. Colette leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of compassion, bringing warmth to the hearts of those who knew her.
In heartfelt gratitude, the family extends sincere thanks to the compassionate staff at Woodgrove Manor where Colette resided in the past, for their dedicate care and support. Appreciation is also extended to the caring professionals at Wexford Creek Seniors Community where Colette spent her final moments, for their kindness and attentive assistance.
The family would like to express profound gratitude to the staff and Nanaimo Regional General Hospital for their unwavering commitment to Colette’s well-being during her time of need. Your compassion and dedication have left an indelible mark on our hearts.
A memorial service to celebrate Colette’s life will be held at a later date.
