Codey Steven Ernie Stauffer of Wroxeter passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024, at home in his 32nd year. Beloved partner of Samantha Subject, father of Cayden and Payton Stauffer, son of Darlene Stauffer (Robert Husnik) of Wroxeter, and Russell Stauffer (Kimberley Robertson) of Kitchener, grandson of Ernie (Wendy) Hodgins of Atwood, Lois (Lyle) Cox of Goderich, Eileen Stauffer of Formosa, and Bernie Ashton of Kitchener. Codey will be dearly missed by his siblings Valin (Joe) Bijman of Linwood, Karri-Anne (Colin) Collier of Guelph, Sarah Stauffer (Andrew Boutilier) of Walkerton, Scott Alexander (Lindsay Lewis) of Barrie, Destiny Field (Devin Young) of Teeswater, Nikolas Robertson of Stoney Creek, Tyler (Nicole) Husnik of Bluevale, Julia Husnik (Dustin Gilkinson) of Wroxeter, and many nieces and nephews.
He will be remembered by his aunts and uncles Verna (Michael) Leuverink of Walkerton, Nancy Stauffer of Formosa, Larry (Felicia) Stauffer of Kitchener, Rosemary (Don) Rody of Walkerton, Tracy (Art) Davison of Maidstone, Brian (Leanne) Hodgins of Port Elgin, Derrick (Jackie) Pegelo of Kitchener, Carla Phillipo of Linden, Linda Rivard of Port Stanley, David Cox of London, and many cousins.
Predeceased by his grandfather Ernie Stauffer, and cousins Darren Stauffer and Chris Leuverink.
Friends and relatives are invited to visitation from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at Cameron’s in Walkerton. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 16, 2024, at Cameron’s in Walkerton. Reception to follow.
Spring interment in Durham Road Baptist Cemetery, Greenock.
